From the article: Glossophobia
Glossophobia, or the fear of public speaking, is surprisingly common. Yet the fear can be life-limiting, making it difficult to hold certain jobs or enjoy a night out with friends. How do you cope with glossophobia? What are your public speaking tips? Share your story here. Share Your Story

justme

I am 15, in the 10th grade, and I have glossophobia. I HATE speaking in public. My heart starts thumping, head starts hurting, eyes get watery, and body gets all shakey. I pray that my teacher never calls on me to ask a question in class. It is so bad to the point where I don't even like working in church. I love God and really want to become active in church but I always get the same feeling. I am afraid that I will screw up and everyone will laugh at me, and that I will not do as good as others. When I was little(like 5-13) I used to cry and run of stage as fast as I could. I am glad it has gotten better since then though.
