- how can I pay for Medical Insurance when I lost my Job.

how will this help me
- confused about how this helps my family. We all work and have insurance thru our jobs. Not good insurance, so we try not to go to the doctor so we really pay for nothing. But was wondering does the Obama Care, mean I would not have to pay for welfare people? Would also have to get their own insurance? THAT I would not have to pay for, so maybe my family could afford to go to the doctor when needed and not suffer myself with an aliment because I have to pay for everyone else. I think the supreme court should also look at how unfair it is for the middle class to also be forced to pay for all the drug addicts, just plain lazy people who think work is a nasty four letter word. Or all those babies mommas who go out and have baby after baby because they can, and then I have to pay for them, Mommy schooling, daycare, doctor bills, ect and ect. I wasn't there holding them down. I don't mind giving a person a hand up, BUT when generation after generation are always on the same path. WRONG

There is no such thing as the Obama Plan
- Calling the Health Care Reform or Affordable Care Act the Obama Plan or ObamaCare is totally incorrect and misinformed. It was an act of CONGRESS, that Obama signed into law. It was an act of Congress, created and voted on by members of both parties. Please use correct terminology. Esp. on"About.com"

Unfair
- How can our goverment force us into a health care that 72% of the people do not want. All it is doing is creating more of a entitlement society. We have enough of a problem with our economy now and we will be adding 2.3 trillion dollars to our budget with this in taxes as I am a retired union construction worker and paid in all of my life, and also paid into a insurence fund so Iwould have backup insurence for Medicare so Iprerared for the future, not wanting my taxes to go up to pay for everybody else, just not fair Michael Pulliam NY

Do you know?
- Government run Medicare has a higher rate of rejection of claims than private insurance companies. What the government giveth, the government can certainly taketh away.

For those that still don't know...
- One of the major issues President Obama has taken on during his presidency is what has come to be known as Obama Care. Obama Care is health care reform that focuses on health care funding, increasing coverage, reducing cost, and removing the social burden that healthcare has become. You can still get online health insurance rates by entering your zip code now! The changes are in the 2010 US Health Reform Bill. Some of the changes with take place immediately, others will take years. The following article with provide more information about these details of Obama Care. As to the Canadian comment...
- Overall satisfaction rate 85.2% of Canadians reported that they were "satisfied" or "very satisfied" with the way health care services are provided in their country and an even higher number (89.8%) rated their physician in the same way though slightly lower ratings were awarded to hospitals (79.9% being "satisfied" or "very satisfied").[64]

healthcare
- If you read the healthcare bill as I have, you will find many items that do not pertain to healthcare. This is what I object to as well as this healthcare bill will fail as all socialized medicine has. People from Canada come here for treatment because of the wait to have anything done. TAxes will go up look at England and Canada. This country is in a mess because of politicians that become wealthy while in office and ones that come into the office that are rich. They do not care about the middle class, only for what they can get out of them.

Are You Kidding Me?
- First of all let me say it will not be "Free" I agree with the other poster what if we can't afford it do we still have to pay a fine? Let's look at Canada's healthcare. No one pays a cent. Obama's healthcare has so many holes like a piece of swiss cheese. Time will tell and let me say we will be disapointed. This is an embarrasment our Nation when we try to help other countries but can not take care of our own people. Let take care of home. Jobs are are to find especially in California. So please don't insult our intelligence thinking this new 2014 will solve our need to choose food over medicine. Give a really system like Canada's. Thanks for looking.. https://sites.google.com/site/hotcellsgrabem/

- Not all people on welfare are "unwilling to work". I'm a single mom with 3 kids working 40+ hours a week & bringing home less than 1400 a month, so yes, I use food stamps to feed my children. That's a horrible assumption for you to make. Yes, there are people out there abusing the system, but there are those of us who depend on it.

Obamas healthcare plan
- Im hearing so many different views on this topic, trying to understand why exactly the republicans say we are taking rights away from us as US free people,& this is communist,&will lead to future "CONTROL"??? I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed ( so to speak) however, how will this.add to our 14trillion in debt budget? isnt it Humanity,to care for the ill,? And American spirit to take care of our loved ones, our sick, our needy? Someone explain how this bill is going to hurt us phyiscally, mentally, emotionally, and fiancially as a country or humans with intergrity, and heart? I

CONCERNED
- Goverment agencies in my experience has no idea what is affordable for my budget, so what happens when I cant afford this Healthcare? If I cant afford healthcare price are you going to charge me a fine I cant afford too? How does this fix our problem

Government healthcare not a free-for-all
- Please don't assume everyone who makes more than you will pay for all or part of it. We won't be able to afford anything more than you do now. It'll just be involuntarily taken from you in higher prices/taxes so you don't have freedom of choices. Universal or natinalized health care is not a free-for-all. Do research. In Britain, you still have to get supplemental insurance to get more than basics covered, which is probably hard to afford with HIGH taxes on EVERYTHING ($6 gas, higher income taxes than USA, sales tax up to 20%, etc). Countries (Canada and some European ones) that have government care are having problems with it and are talking about or in process of becoming more private. Around the time Obama's people started talking about health care, they set up a committee to spell out what will not be covered if Obamacare passes. Also, don't you find it suspicious that health associations are now revising their recommendations, like women needn't get mammogram until 50 vs 40 yrs

Really
- Page 65: Taxpayers will subsidize all union retiree and community organizer health plans (example: SEIU, UAW and More pork just in a new bill. Those who can't afford premiums now will be fined if they don't buy in. How does this make sense?
