Many of you have shared your thoughts via blog comments and forum posts. Now I want to open the floor to you even further. Over the coming weeks, look for new opportunities to share your stories and experiences. Living with a phobia is never fun, and this provides a very real opportunity for our entire community to learn from each other.

Here are a few to get you started. If you have ever had a relevant experience, good or bad, I do hope you will share!

Dating With a Phobia -- How has your phobia affected your dating life? When did you disclose your fear and how did that work out?

Fear of Flying Successes -- Have you successfully beaten, or at least coped with, your fear of flying? Tell us about the first successful flight you took after realizing you had a fear.

Recognizing a Child's Phobia -- Experts tell us the signs to watch for, but parents always know best. Does your child have a phobia? Did she display the "classic symptoms" or did something else make you realize there was a problem?
