My social phobia
- Everyone had shunned me in elementary school; for no reason, other than the fact that my "best friend" turned everyone against me. Ever since then, I'd spent my lunch periods hiding in the bathroom, staying with the guidance counselors, roaming the halls. I couldn't stand to walk into the lunch room....feeling as if they were all watching and waiting for a reason to tease me. Tease me like I was in elementary school. My first fews weeks of high school were spent in near silence. The second day, I had found the school library. I still hide out most of my days there and the computer lab. Anywhere but that miserable lunch room. I've dragged my closest friends into this with me; if they want to hang out, they'd have to adapt to my style. I feel guilty about it. But it gives me immense anxiety to step into that lunch room for the merest second. I go to an all-girls school; it takes some pressure off. Not all. I fear the rest of my 3 years will peril like this as well. My anxiety and phobia.
